Phototropism is the process where the plants bend towards light.
This happens because the plant needs light for photosynthesis.
There are two main types, Positive and negative.
In positive the plant bends towards light, and in negative the plant bends opposite light.
Auxin is the hormone that makes this happen.
Auxin is the hormone that regulates plant growth.
Auxin and other hormones are derived from secondary metabolism, which enables enzymes that boost Auxin production.
