When we take fish from the sea , we are taking away food that another animal could eat. If we take too many fish , then there may not be enough food for

there animals , and they may die out.

For example , numbers of puffins in some parts of Scotland have decreased . Puffins eat fish called sand eels . Humans catch a lot of sand eels. Perhaps the puffins cannot find enough food .

Human activities such as deforestation, urbanisation, and agriculture can drastically alter natural habitats. This can lead to the loss of certain species, which in turn affects the food chains and webs they are part of.
When too many fish are taken out of the ocean it creates an imbalance that can erode the food web and lead to a loss of other important marine life, including vulnerable species like sea turtles and corals.
