Well there are 1st equations for motion and lets list it down :
v = u + at
These are the 3 equation for motion but before understanding them lets just write down a meanings of the variables :
V = Final velocity
U = initial velocity
A = Acceleration
T = Time
As we got a brief idea on what are the variables now lets look at the derivations and logics of the equations of motion
v = u + at
As we all got to know that the formula says , Final velocity = Initial velocity + Acceleration × Time , why ?
Lets draw a velocity,time graph to answer this.
As you can see here we have initial velocity , final velocity and time , as we all know the standing line at right is equal to the left standing line , the line is the velocity ,lets say u is the starting point of something which had a small velocity , so lets say the line of u to o is u , for this lets go to the second diagram.
As you can see here this diagram stated v must be equal to u + something over the white line , what is the something , the something must be at - Acceleration times Time , we got to know this according to the equation. If we measure the triangle above including the rectangle down it is possible to get the final velocity
