MRSA: The superbug that defies antibiotics!

An interesting fact about Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is that it can survive on surfaces like door handles, bed linens, and medical equipment for days to weeks, making it highly contagious in hospitals and healthcare settings. This resilience contributes to its spread and makes infection control extremely challenging. and another thing about MRSA is -  is that some people can carry the bacteria on their skin or in their nose without showing any symptoms—this is called colonization. These carriers can unknowingly spread MRSA to others, increasing the risk of infection in hospitals, gyms, and other crowded places.

The MRSA has spherical, grape-like clusters with a resistant cell wall.

Your Tongue Prints Are unique as finger prints!

Just like fingerprints, no two people have the same tongue print! Your tongue has a unique combination of ridges, textures, and patterns that make it completely one of a kind. Even identical twins, who have the same DNA, have different tongue prints.

Scientists have studied tongue prints as a possible method for biometric identification, just like fingerprints or retinal scans. Since the tongue is protected inside the mouth it doesn’t wear out as easily as fingerprints, making it a reliable way to confirm someone identity in the future, you might be able to unlock your phone or confirm your ID just by sticking out your tongue!

kuzhiyana! (antlion)

Antlions are predatory insects in the family Myrmeleontidae. The larvae of antlions are known for their funnel-shaped pits, which they dig in sandy soil. They use these traps to catch ants and other small insects that fall in. Once the prey tumbles into the pit, the antlion larva grabs it and feeds on it. As adults, antlions resemble dragonflies, with large wings and long bodies, but they don't pose a threat to humans

The secret behind your lip color!

Your lips are red because they have no skin—just blood vessels covered by a thin layer!

Unlike the rest of your body, your lips have no sweat gland , no oil glands and almost no protective outer layer, which is why they dry out so easily .  The red or pink color comes from the blood flowing right beneath the surface!

That’s why lips are extra sensitive, making them one of the most responsive parts of your body to touch and temperature!

Brain : A 20-Watt Powerhouse That Never Sleeps!"

Brain :  It generates enough electricity to power a small light bulb!

Your brain runs on electrical signals sent between billions of neurons. In total, it produces about 20 watts of electrical power—enough to light up a small LED bulb. Even when you're resting, your brain is constantly active, processing information, regulating your body, and even daydreaming. It never truly "turns off," which is why you can wake up suddenly from deep sleep if something urgent happens!
