The imbalance between the positive and negative charge within on object causes the discharge of electrical pulse known as static electricity .
We can create a static electricity charge by rubbing two surface in contact that are at some distance .
Also at least one of the surface has a high resistance to electric current {and is therefore , an electrical insulator so, this is how static current is produced
Types of Charges:There are two types of electric charges: positive and negative. Like charges repel each other, while opposite charges attract.
how does static electricity occur ?
It occurs when tiny particles called electrons move from one object to another.
When two different materials touch, they can transfer electrons between them.
You might feel a shock when you touch something after walking on a carpet due to built-up static electricity.
Rubbing a balloon on your hair can make your hair stand up because of static electricity.
Static electricity is useful in everyday life, such as in printers and photocopiers.
