reasons for Food spoilage
. food get spoilt mainly due to the presence of micro organisms,enzymes (presence in food) insects,worms and rats
conditions appropriate for growth of micro organisms are:
. food having high moisture content
. air surrounding the food contains micro organisms
. food kept for a long time at room temperature
. skin of fruits and vegetables getting damaged,if exposed to micro organisms
. foods with low salt,sugar or acid content
if you want to prevent spoilage of food by micro organisms,you must remove the conditions which are appropriate for their growth.
