Naturally occurring matter are physical mixtures of compounds. if you add 2 or more substance they become a mixture in the atmosphere
Types of Mixtures
The first type of mixture is heterogenous mixture and the second type of mixture is homogeneous
Heterogenous mixture is a mixture of 2 or more solutions , like oil and water is a heterogenous mixture , water and bromine liquid and etcetera
Homogenous mixture is a mixture which contain only one solution like salt water , water , sweet water and etcetera
All of these could be within liquid , solid or gas
Concentration
Concentration refers to the amount of a substance in a defined space. Example 👇
As you can see there are 2 container here A and B , both contain salt
A contains more salt than b cause it is shaded more thus we call it more concentrated that the other , B is more concentrated than the other
A which is less concentrated is called dilute , so we can say beaker a has less concentration than beaker B
The formula for concentration is , Mass of solute / Mass of solution into 100
The second way to describe concentrated is to calculate the percentage of mass / volume
